I’ve been heavily involved in both sports and sports education since studying Physical Education at Bob Jones University. Additionally, I’ve lived in Greenville for 23 years with my wife, Heather, and five boys. My world has been shaped by years of participating as a high school and collegiate basketball official, assigner, and managing over 100 officials and 2,000 games per year with daily communication with ADs. I began Breakaway Sports Ministries in 2000 and have developed varied experience over the last twenty years between running summer camp programs, coaching youth sports teams, athletic facility management, and serving on various athletic boards.

The beginning of Your Virtual AD was based on the everyday interactions I had with athletic directors. Many shared how difficult and time consuming it was to schedule games, and I shared in their frustrations. After much thought and consulting with multiple athletic directors and coaches, I saw the need for an easier method of game scheduling, but everything I found lacked a personal touch to guide me and other ADs. The drive behind Your Virtual AD is to help athletic directors by freeing up their time to spend on important areas. This service is meant to give them what’s needed in terms of a quality schedule for their teams without all the hassle and time constraints of piecing it together.

Tim has owned Breakaway Sports Ministries for over 20 years, leading summer camps, directing church leagues, and training referees. He worked briefly as an athletic director and for the last 20 years has worked hand in hand with athletic directors. His passion is athletic administration.

Cary works as athletic director of Westgate Christian School in Spartanburg, SC. During his 20+ years of athletic administration, he has also coached several sports including soccer, basketball, and softball. He excels at the day to day operations of running an athletic program.

Quentin has worked as a NCAA volleyball and basketball official for the past 15 years. In that time, he has developed extensive personal and business relationships with AD’s and coaches all over the country. He brings great passion and experience to our sales and marketing team.
